Easter reflections

One thing I have never thought of is how Jesus was full of humility when he washed the disciples feet.
He did not mind where his disciples feet had stepped on, the road was not paved, it was dusty with rocks and all manner of dirt, yet Jesus knelt and washed the feet of his disciples all of them, washed them clean. Who amongst us would kneel at anyone's feet and just wash their feet. Thereafter he carried the cross on his back, was beaten, flogged and crucified for us, just so he could cleanse us of our sins. There is no greater love or sacrifice than that. Let us be reminded of all the love God had for us. He could have spared himself all of that, but he suffered it for us.
Let us strive to live our lives in the steps that Jesus walked and have a fraction of the humility shown and offer a helping hand to those who are needy.
May you all be blessed

  1. His love for us is beyond measure. This was to signify servant leadership that the highest should be the lowest. I pray we could emulate that
