Corn on the cob
A while back, when mumchkim discovered that there was food that did not originate from a human source, he got involved in the process. Dived right in as an epicurean.
The human source I.e his mother because the primary provider of the nyams as he calls them.
I have realised there is nothing like boring food or food that he won't eat. The bias lies with me.
Mumchkin eats Maize in the grinded form in a mill and that form that is chewed by your mother Maize on the cob.
You can't chew Maize fast enough to make it palatable for mumchkin since he is usually watching for your mouth waiting for his portion of chewed maize and sticks his fingers in your mouth when you are not forthcoming and are being slow. I am usually in a baby bird feeding situation.i saw a documentary on a male bird somewhere in tsavo that travels long distances and carries water in its mouth for its babies and delivers the commodity to waiting greedy babies. You now understand why birds push their babies out of their nests. It's time.
Sometime back i decided, its time for mumchkin to eat his own maize on the cob i.e baby corn because mama was feeling harrassed. When he got his tam, he refused to release it. And gnawed on the kennels with glee until they were finished and he continued holding it like a beloved teddy.
This morning, i have passed through my little veggie garden and got a few Maize cobs that are considered baby.
Baby is being pushed of his trainer wheels, or so to speak his chewy wheels.
